The Challenger OS stands out as an overstable putter, featuring a beaded design and a deep rim. Its flatter flight plate is an enhancement to the inherent stability found in the standard Challenger model. Despite being categorized as a 2-speed disc, the Challenger OS distinguishes itself by resisting high-speed turn effectively. This characteristic bridges the gap between the Ringers/Zones discs and the wider selection of putters offered by Discraft.
Crafted from Big Z plastic, the Challenger OS boasts a tacky texture that grants players a confident grip. This gripping ability is complemented by the plastic's durability, ensuring a consistent flight throughout the disc's lifespan. Notably, the standout feature of this year's Challenger OS run is its distinctive stamp. Drawing inspiration from Japanese art, the stamp showcases a 2-color design that prominently features the fierce yet wise visage of the Hannya samurai mask.
It's worth noting that only a limited production of 2200 units of this design are available.
